Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities Independently develops and executes test scripts to ensure that quality software is provided for release to production and to certify system changes. Produces expert level test plan documents and requirements. Develops test control databases. Performs solution testing confirming business requirements. Maintains test databases and ensures their integrity and currency. Distributes test data from control database to development staff to satisfy adequate unit testing. Develops, compiles, documents and runs automated test scripts and test procedures. Runs regression tests. Tracks status of defects. Provides quality assurance testing for all systems to ensure the development and distribution of quality products. Assists with roll-out of systems documentation. Produces lists of defects that are to be resolved and incorporated into future releases of the application as required. Communicates with analysts and programmers about formal testing plans, problems, and results. Develops technical documentation and reports. Manages the Release Management process for all changes to the baseline IT infrastructure. Ensures all processes are adhered to appropriately throughout project lifecycles. Ensures all existing processes are fully documented, suggesting improvements, updating documentation, and communicating all process changes to relevant stakeholders. Considered a recognized authority within the company. Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Qualifications Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD. Duties: Technical Lead - Penetration Testing Establishes, maintains and coordinates testing schedules. Performs discovery activities, attack planning, test execution, and detailed reporting on test scenarios, findings, and recommendations. Leads and supervises lower-level analysts. Education: Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10 yrs of experience or a Master's with 8 yrs of experience. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, or other related scientific or technical discipline. Four (4) additional years of general experience (as defined below) may be substituted for the degree. Experience: 10 years of experience in advanced network operations with increasing responsibilities. Five (5) years of current experience in independent penetration testing of perimeter controls for large, geographically dispersed networks. Five (5) years in NSA IAM and IEM. Three (3) years of technical task management and supervisory experience. Certifications Required: CISSP Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) IAM/IEM Certification Certifications Desired: N/A Options
