Network Administrator, Ft. Detrick MD Job Location: DC Metro Area Type: Fulltime, Mon-Fri Number of Openings: 1 Start Date: Immediately Clearance Required: DOD Secret (or above) Security Clearance The Network Administrator / ISSO position is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of the servers hosted at the Army datacenter which include desktop, laptops, and workstations. This position also provides technical assistance to team members with system network and cyber security requests. In addition, the ISSO administers security scans to ensure system compliance with all Army regulations and also supports the local Network Enterprise Center (NEC). Essential Duties and Responsibilities IT Support relating to issues with the internal systems and network infrastructure Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, SCCM, Active Directory, SQL, SharePoint, etc. Support services for virtualization technologies: VMware, and Microsoft Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and security Administer desktops, laptops and servers. Also support customers using technologies that meet their requirements Support disaster recovery solutions Remote access solution support: VPN and Terminal Services Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard and periodic system review Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or planned outages Maintain security posture of program IT assets in compliance with customer standards Provide cyber security support to program and NEC as required in Army Regulations Perform and assess network vulnerability scans using ACAS (NESSUS) vulnerability scanner Ensure compliance of all systems connected to ICAN. IE patching and IAVAs Perform security audits and security assessments Ensures systems compliance with security measures and system hardening as outlined in the DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Train end users and promote good security posture and awareness.
