Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: utilize knowledge of U.S. and foreign policy to develop and sustain effective working relationships with various nations on politico-military matters; assist with the development of policies, plans and strategies for military-military programs and partnerships with partner nations; conduct research to develop and present briefings related to international security matters; and make recommendations to senior officials with regard to international social events, and activities with foreign delegations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
