  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Applicant's resumes must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-05 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Purchase supplies and/or materials in person, telephonically, or by various computer websites; 2) Ensure purchases are within established monetary limitations set by an organization; 3) Evaluate purchase requests for adequacy of description, restrictive features and presence of administrative data necessary for procurement; 4)Utilize an automated supply system to track material status and to keep others informed of order and projected delivery dates.

    This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.

    Term appointments may be extended up to 8 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations. Additionally, you may be noncompetitively converted to a permanent career-conditional or career appointment under specific conditions.
