Experts at integrating office technologies, the companyA cents € (TM) s motto, Meridian Means Service, reflects its mission to help clients get the most out of technology by combining great customer service with cutting-edge hardware and software.A' We are looking for a Field Service Technician who provides customer service by maintaining, servicing and repairing office equipment at customer locations within assigned territories/accounts. WeA cents € (TM) re looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional customer service, organizational, and prioritization skills. You need to demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, and be able to work independently without direct supervision.Essential Job FunctionsVisit client sites within assigned territories/accounts for troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving maintenance/repair of multifunctional office equipment to include complex disassembly, cleaning and replacement of individual parts, reassembly, testing and adjustmentTroubleshoot equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions and estimate parts and labor for repair; research the current cost of replacement equipment and recommend repair or replacement of the equipmentSet up and prepare new copier/fax/scanner equipment for installEnsure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding to service calls in a courteous and timely mannerManage inventory accurately for tools, parts and supplies in vehicle stock to include projecting usage to ensure appropriate equipment is on hand to meet customer demandsResolve at least 85% of service calls without assistance upon completion of training and territory assignmentMaintain current technical knowledge and continuously expand knowledge of new technology and equipmentMeet call quality and total calls per day expectations and "first call" time requirements as outlined by the Service DepartmentRefurbish used equipment, including cleaning and repairingProvide sales support as requiredComplete and submit invoices and expense reports accurately and in a timely mannerPerform an average of 4.5 service calls per dayProject a professional company image in daily interactions with customersAssist with warehouse duties and other responsibilities as requiredPerform other related duties as assignedCompetencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)Experience, Educational Reqts and CertificationsSuccessful completion of Meridian's 9-week comprehensive new hire training program, which covers: electrical and mechanical fundamentals; troubleshooting; preventative maintenance procedures; and model-specific, manufacturer-certified trainingA' Konica Minolta Offers:A' A' A' Outstanding benefits package (including medical, dental, vision, life insurance)401(k) plan with matching company contributionGenerous holiday and paid time off schedulesTuition Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramOngoing professional development trainingVisible, exciting work supporting sales of cutting edge technology and workflow solutions.A' Join Konica Minolta and help drive innovation as we transform the Workplace of the Future.A cents " cents A' Konica Minolta is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
