The Lead Technician role with our client. is responsible for leading a team of 2-4 technicians on site at various locations throughout the MD/DC area.This lead technician will have to be well versed within CCTV and access control panels. (preferred Lenel, AMAG and softwarehouse) These technicians would ideally need to sit in the Baltimore, MD area.This technician will have to be strong within physical security access control as well as have great communication/leadership skills to be the face of our client at any given customer. Primarily this individual will be supporting state and local government entities; from city police, local courthouses, public works, and different universities in the area. They would be required to go to the office at least once a week for meetings/equipment pick-up. Job duties:* Install and maintain electronic security systems with experience on various systems and with multiple customer programs* Identify installation and maintenance activities and determine execution durations* Complete high quality device and component installation activities and maintenance activities* Participate in configuration of servers, workstations, panels and other programmable components* Execute testing to identify and correct system problems at component and system levels as part of system sustainment activities* Install system raceway* Install system cabling* Terminate and test system cabling and all components* Install equipment racks, enclosures, panels and all mounting hardware components* Meet all attendance requirements and working hours of the project* Communicate effectively with supervisors* Communicate effectively with subordinates* Incorporate, follow and reinforce all required safety practices at all times* Participate in creation, updates, and management of project schedules* Identify potential project risks and manage to mitigate* Track, document and analyze for productivity improvementsAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
