    This position is located in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This mission of OICO is to enable delivery of HUD programs, services, and management processes by providing high-quality information technology (IT) solutions and services. The strategic goals of OCIO are to: rapidly modernize HUD's information technology to support key business initiatives; transform the information technology infrastructure to adapt to and adopt emerging technologies; develop a cadre of highly capable IT professionals with mission critical competencies needed to meet the Department's goals; and provide secure, rapid, and reliable data and information to our customers. This position is located in the Office of Customer Relationship and Performance Management, Enterprise Program Management Division, Project Management Branch part of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). 

    You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

    For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12grade level in the Federal service. 

    Specialized experience for the position consists of Managing IT related projects.

    Examples of such experience include:
    - Managing software development and/or software/hardware implementation projects; OR
    - Establish project scope, timeline/schedule and cost to lead or manage projects from start to finish; OR
    - Creating project schedules, status reports or proposals.

    In addition to meeting specialized experience, part of the minimum qualifications to perform the duties of an IT Project Manager is to hold a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent.

    Examples of equivalent certifications may include:
    - CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)
    - PgMP (Program Management Professional)
    - PfMP (Portfolio Management Professional)
    - PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
    - PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)
    - PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional)
    - PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional)
    - OPM3 (Organizational Project Management)
    - PPM Certification (Proficient Project Manager)
    - FAC-P/PM (Federal Acquisition Certification for Program & Project Managers)

    Also, applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of these 4 competencies: 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
    - A one year probationary period may be required.
    - Must successfully complete a background investigation.
