Freddie Mac's Finance division is currently seeking a Risk and Performance Analytics Professional to be part of the Investments and Capital Markets CFO department. The Investments and Capital Markets CFO department is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, portfolio risk and profitability analysis, pricing and valuation activities, and financial planning & analysis for Freddie Mac's Capital Markets segment. The hired individual will be responsible for developing insightful analysis and reporting on the risk, performance, and activity of Freddie Mac's Retained Portfolio with a focus on interest-rate and funding risk. The hired individual will also be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of enhanced Funds Transfer Pricing methodologies related to the Capital Markets segment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Interacting directly with stakeholders across multiple divisions to gather input on current and proposed Funds Transfer Pricing methodologies. Stakeholders include I&CM, Single Family, and Multifamily business units and Finance business partners.
  • Assessing the operational feasibility of proposed methodologies
  • Developing Excel prototypes of different Funds Transfer Pricing approaches
  • Preparing analysis and reporting on interest-rate risks and hedging activities
  • Supporting Cash Flow Forecasting and liquidity risk activities
  • Analyzing the sensitivity of financial results to interest-rate and funding spread changes and other market factors
  • Preparing presentations delivered to senior management and the Board of Directors


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fixed income, financial services, and/or financial analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint and the aptitude to learn other software
