CHENEGA DECISION SCIENCES Company Job Title: CENTAUR Engineer Clearance: TS/SCI Location: Fort Belvoir, VA Reports To: Director of Operations FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time, Regular Summary: The CENTAUR Engineer will perform the tasks in coordination with government personnel to provide the cybersecurity support services and solutions necessary to analyze, assess, integrate, enhance, improve, modernize, implement, test, sustain, and maintain the DCGS-A cybersecurity posture and capabilities. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical and engineering support regarding the installation of new CENTAUR systems to PACOM and/or other new locations. Provide technical support and observations regarding the accreditation of the CENTAUR-X system. Provide technical support and recommendations to the PM regarding exercises and evaluations using CENTAUR. Perform on-site initial site surveys for new CENTAUR installations or technical upgrades. Provide findings and recommendations to the PM or DMO regarding concept and operations for the new site / upgrades. Provide technical assistance and on-site support to Information Assurance accreditation efforts. Support the review / testing and redline of the CENTAUR documentation such as, FSE Guides, System Administration manuals, and Load instructions and provide feedback to PM DCGS-A; provide support on documentation updates as well. Support technical discussions with the CENTAUR user community regarding changes to the baseline, rule sets, and ensure recommended changes have been validated with the PM or DMO. Provide onsite technical support during the installation or upgrade of a system as well as attend meetings to provide technical/engineering support of CENTAUR. Provide technical support during the validation of recommended operational changes to the overall CENTAUR baseline. Provide technical support / recommendations in regard to the CENTAUR reconfiguration or conceptual design reviews for CENTAUR future. Interact with all services to assist with determining the CENTAUR configuration needed to support their mission operations. Assist the vendor and DMO in understanding the specific configuration or rule set described for this effort. Provide technical support and recommendations to the DMO / PM regarding the changes to and use of the Coalition Data Broker. This includes the use of this capability by the coalition forces and other outside organizations as supported or needed in CENTAUR. Provide technical support on the Coalition Shared Data Server and its use within DCGS-A and throughout the DCGS community. This includes the use / requirement of this capability by the coalition forces and how CENTAUR should be configured to support the changes in this community. Bachelor's Degree and 5 years experience Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree Active TS/SCI Clearance Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficient in computer software programs such as, word processors, spreadsheet programs, and database systems. Basic analytical experience. Proficient typing skills. Data organization and storage knowledge.
