Overview Devis is currently seeking an experienced Functional Analyst / Tester to provide support for a US international development program in Rosslyn, VA by performing acceptance testing for various types of systems and applications, including custom software as well as commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products. The ideal candidate will be a professional, energetic, motivated self-starter that is able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Specific responsibilities include but not limited to: Responsible for reviewing requirements/user stories, designing and executing test cases/scripts and documenting test results Performs acceptance testing for assigned projects Testing activities and assignments: documentation review, process assessment, developing acceptance criteria, writing acceptance test cases and executing acceptance tests testing preparing for and performing functional testing in collaboration with software development team members Review and analyze technical artifacts and report findings Research industry best practices or regulatory requirements Supports the development and delivery of testing documents and deliverables (test plan, test cases, mapping documents, reports, etc.) Proficient in manual testing Experience with automated regression, performance and load testing (a plus) Momentum financial experience (a plus) Supports project manager with planning and scheduling activities and risk identification/mitigation Supports testing integration with DevOps including development of automated / load testing Required Skills and Qualifications 5-7 years of proven software testing experience Hands-on functional testing experience that includes: Test case development and execution Defects Identification and ability to follow client defect lifecycle Knowledge of RTM Daily test status and tracking reporting to team lead Familiarity with IEEE, CMMI quality assurance models Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing dynamic environment; prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams Detail oriented with excellent follow through Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a team player who is able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams Education / Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Information Technology or another relevant domain Clearance Requirements Must be a US Citizen w/an active Secret Clearance Additional Perks/Benefits Competitive salary compensation Commuter benefits that include free on-site parking or SmartTrip reimbursement SEP Retirement Savings Plan Flexible, results oriented work environment Performance bonuses Devis is an AA/EOE/M/F/Disabled/VET Employer committed to providing equal employment opportunity without regard to an individual's race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, veteran status, national origin or disability.
