Job Summary Community Concepts, Inc., a mission-based business devoted to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in a variety of settings including small group residential settings, community-based day programs, and supported person's homes. We are looking for employees who are flexible in spirit, have a positive attitude and are capable of supporting people with significant behavioral challenges. We have offices in Ashburn, Fairfax, and Prince William Counties where these positions would be based out of. We are currently hiring FT Behavior Specialists . The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, providing Therapeutic Consultation Services to supported persons in accordance with company policies and procedures and Virginia Licensing and Medicaid requirements, developing behavior plans, and training and evaluating staff on behavior plans. This position pays $45,000-$55,000 annually, depending on credentials and experience. We offer a competitive sign on bonus, awarded after 3 months of successful billing! Qualifications and Skills Position requires at a minimum: BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or a related area from an accredited college or university with three years of documented experience working with special needs and challenging behaviors, and experience in developing behavior plans; MA/MS preferred. BCaBA, PBSF, BCBA, or unrestricted clinical licensure in VA such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist are REQUIRED. Applicants need not apply without the required credentials and experiences - Proof of credentials are required on first day of employment. Documentation of experience working with/developing behavior plans with special needs populations is REQUIRED. Incumbents should have significant experience working with ABA-based supports or in an environment that is committed to positive behavioral supports. The chosen candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends and be able to respond to crisis situations. The incumbent's schedule will vary and be based on the needs of the program. All applicants must be able to meet our driving criteria, pass required background clearances, and provide a current, negative TB result. All applicants must have highly proficient computer skills as well as abilities to effectively support individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral needs. Must attend a two-week, paid orientation.
