Financial Controller - (Please do not apply without GAAP or Intaact experience)** A growing restaurant chain is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team to manage the GAAP compliance and GAAP financial reporting. The position of Financial Controller will oversee and support the financial operations of the business, with regards to budgeting, compliance, and reporting. This person will be required to complete and maintain the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing entries and schedules across the entire trial balance. Their main daily focus will be managing the General Ledger for all 15+ restaurant and real estate entities to ensure all transactions are booked correctly by the finance and data entry team. The position will work as a liaison between external accountants/auditors and the Director of Finance. This position will be responsible for managing the Intacct accounting system, experience with Sage Intacct is a major plus. Some various other tasks include: Assisting in Bank Reconciliations. Producing Weekly & Monthly P&Ls for ownership. Creating and maintaining schedules to include Lease Schedules, Debt Schedules, Fixed Asset Schedules, and so on. Process and maintain Rent Payments in according to leases. Tracking Vehicle Assets and Depreciation. Work Paper management and supporting documentation. Assist in Budget formation and compliance tracking. This position will come with various other requirements: Ability to work under pressure. Desire to help a company grow and expand in the role as the company grows. A bachelor's degree in related field 5+ years of experience 2 years (minimum) of accounting experience in restaurant environment CPA is a plus but not required. Sage Intacct experience is major.
