We are seeking a candidate to join our Landscape Construction Team as an Entry-Level Assistant Project Manager. Experience is welcomed but we are offering this as a training opportunity. This position is responsible for communicating directly with our General Contractors and their administrative team. Project Manager is responsible for tracking and generating RFIs, submittals for ongoing projects as well as any related paperwork and generating Take Off reports for material and labor estimates. McDonnell Landscape, Inc. is a small business specializing in large commercial landscape installation projects in the DC Metro Area. Clients include General Contractors, Local and Federal Governments and Institutions. McDonnell offers compensation packages, health insurance benefits. Responsibilities Manage all project documentation Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines Assist with estimation and bidding process Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders Study, analyze and understand construction documents (Drawings, Specifications, RFIs, Amendments, etc.) Attending construction meetings with Subcontractors, General contractors and Owner representatives for ongoing projects. Generate RFIs, Submittals, Take off reports, Change orders, applications for payments, Estimates on a regular basis. Qualifications High School Degree Some College (Preferred) Motivated and willing to learn Google Doc/MS app experience 1 - 2 years' of relevant experience welcomed but training available. Strong organizational skills
