The Global Competency Center ensures project success by filling critical roles in consultancy engagements worldwide. The work includes providing strategic advice, architecture, lead consultancy, and QA on emerging topics like Hybrid IT and containerization. The vacant position is for a PSA with a focus on Integration and API Management solutions based on the webMethods product suite. The PSA architects, designs, and leads the development of innovative and appropriate business solutions with clear value proposition for our customers. This includes the ability to translate business requirements into effective and efficient technical solutions, to interact successfully with both business and technical stakeholders, and to lead technical resources of all seniority levels. The PSA has a profound theoretical background in archtiecture. He/she is able that knowledge in real-life situations and find pragmatic steps to achieve tangible improvments (no 'ivory tower' work). This requires the ability to produce various architectural views, among them conceptual, physical, organizational, information, and process views. Responsibilities: -Independent technical lead consultancy at complex customer scenarios world wide -Education and transfer of knowledge to local PS staff -Contribution to Professional Services methodology and Software AG's body of knowledge -Solution of critical topics in close cooperation with Professional Services Sales, Global Support, and R&D ABOUT YOU Skills and Experience -8 + years professional experience -BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering -IT Architecture, ability to design complex IT architectures, Architecture Frameworks like TOGAF -Strong understanding of the webMethods product suite and Application Integration in theory and practice -Experience or proven interest in API Management. A background in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is welcome -Developer background with strong technical focus. Java programming skills are a plus.
