Metrics and Training Lead
Key Role:

Provide technical capabilities to evaluate foreign country capacity and capability to survey, detect, diagnose, and report outbreaks of pathogens and diseases of security concern. Maintain the monitoring and evaluation framework and training portfolio and provide suggestions for further improvement. Oversee the collection and analysis of project data, maintain and refine existing plans, procedures, methodologies, and tools for undertaking evaluations for the metrics component. Evaluate current training domains and provide suggestions for further improvement for the training component. Interface with client science and program management personnel and work collaboratively with a team of technical subject matters experts in science, disease surveillance, biosafety, and biosecurity and project management specialists. This position may require overseas travel of up to 30% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with infectious diseases in a public health environment

-Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analyses

-Experience with large-scale program monitoring and evaluation

-Experience with consulting

-Experience with standard office computer systems

-Ability to lead a team

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with various veterinary or public health biosurveillance missions of the USG

-Experience with US Cooperative Threat Reduction

-Experience with international work experience

-Knowledge of the US Select Agent Program preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Active Secret clearance preferred

-MA or MS degree in scientific field preferred; PhD in a biological science field a plus
