    Minimum requirements of position:
    • Law Degree: Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited law school with an LL.B., J.D. or equivalent.
    • Bar Membership: Applicants must be a current member of a bar with a valid license to practice law in a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

    To qualify for this Executive-level position, you must have substantial specialized experience, which is defined as:

    • Substantial executive level public, private and/or non-profit financial services experience, as a principal or key decision maker, leading a substantial number of professionals and staff at various organizational levels, AND
    • Broad and substantial executive level experience with public sector conducted examinations and supervision of regulated entities and/or the enforcement of government regulations, AND
    • Demonstrable experience in activities requiring the ability to understand, analyze, and communicate, to both internal and external constituents, an organization's position on complex legal issues.

    Law Degree: Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited law school with an LL.B., J.D. or equivalent.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
    - Subject to a trial period is required (unless already completed).
    - Must successfully complete a background investigation.
    - Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
    - If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
    - Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
    - Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
    - Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
    - File a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE Form 278e) within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.

    • Decision Making and Problem Solving – Makes and communicates decisions in alignment with established practices and protocols while managing risks and synthesizing information to identify timely, sound, data-driven ideas or solutions; recognizes when to take action and when to gather additional data and makes logical decisions when dealing with pressure situations or unexpected problems

    Your essay should include where and when the qualifications were obtained, and the organizational setting in which the experience was acquired (e.g. organization size, level, and assigned fiscal resources). A panel of Subject Matter Experts (SME's) will assess each applicant's responses to determine best qualified applicants for the position. A representative from the Office of Human Capital will contact you if you are found minimally qualified, and you will have 48 hours to submit your narrative.
