  • Minimum Qualification Requirements: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must have specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to perform IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture) work at the GS-14 level. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include leading Enterprise Architecture initiatives that involve developing organizational IT strategy, transition plans, target-architectures of enterprise solutions for cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), DevSecOps, Commodity Information Technology (IT), custom software applications based on microservices, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) with shared service provider(s), and data management plans.

    Time-In-Grade Requirement: Competitive Merit Promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 14 level. You must submit your SF-50 showing time-in-grade requirements have been met. Within Grade Increases (WIG) are most appropriate.

    Education may enhance skills required for this position; however, no substitution of education for specialized experience may be made at this level.
