The Public Relations/Marketing Coordinator works with the Public Relations and Marketing Department to support Adventist HealthCare's (AHC) entities and services. This position will support Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center's marketing of business services, public relations and hospital communication initiatives. Shady Grove's coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment on projects that include: advertising; patient communications materials; public and media relations; marketing events; and other communications. The coordinator also will collaborate with other AHC entities and the PR/Marketing team on the priority projects and events for the AHC system.

Ideal candidates are strong writers and solid communicators who can work independently with AHC leaders and managers. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable handling several projects at once and meeting deadlines. Some evening and weekend work at events will be required. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or a similar area. Internships or other experience working in communications, public relations or marketing is preferred.

Qualified candidates will possess:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Communications, Journalism or similar area
• Internships or other experience working in communications, public relations or marketing is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Mondays through Fridays, with occasional evenings and weekends.
