Apply to join us, the Single-Family IT team! As a Senior Developer, you will be a part of the software development team that will work on projects for critical Freddie Mac core applications. You will be engaging with a project team that's comprised of business, analysis, testing, and infrastructure partners, all working together to enhance the capabilities of these systems.

Requirements Include:
  • Partner with Application Architecture to define technical solutions to complex business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to the project team. Lead design and code reviews.
  • Engage with business to discuss issues and document and explain technical solutions.
  • Promote agile techniques and work on a high performing agile team.
  • Comply with the department application and development standards and apply principles and theories.
  • Support Test Driven Development, including automated JUnits and Functional Testing with tools such as Selenium.
  • Support a DevOps process to include microservices, Docker, Openshift, Maven, Jenkins
  • Support the full software development life-cycle from conception to construction, validation, implementation and production support.
  • Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and Java Design Patterns.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in software development and 2 or more years of experience working in Agile.
