Market/Sales Development Specialist (Medical) $60,000 - $75,000 Job Summary This sales and business development position is based out of Northern Virginia/Southern Maryland and reports to the Regional Director of the Northern Region. He/she is responsible for executing our consultative approach to sales in pursuit of a targeted prospect list. The responsibilities include cold calling a targeted list of prospects, responding to referrals, setting appointments, and conducting needs analysis. In addition, this person will assist the Regional Director in developing proposals, presenting solutions, and closing new business. Legacy Care provides all marketing collateral as well as training in our proven sales method along with ongoing mentorship to ensure success. Essential Functions Study existing marketing strategy, market data, and gather additional essential information through phone, email and face-to-face contact Follow Legacy Care approved prospect contact processes to achieve success in the early stages of our multi-step, consultative closing methodology Brief and prepare the Regional Director for their closing meeting with prospects Participate in the final closing event as directed by the Regional Director Travel throughout the region which includes; Northern Virginia (north of Fredericksburg) Washington DC, and the state of Maryland Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining contact records and reporting progress weekly to the Regional Director Participate in classroom training and ride-along training to learn Legacy Care's business and marketing plan for the NR Increase patient census served by Legacy Care in the Mid-Atlantic market through market analysis and direct sales as required Recommend sales strategies for improvement of current practices based on market research and competitor analyses Always maintain a clean and professional appearance that adheres to Legacy Care's brand expectation and company policies. Always communicate in a professional manner regardless of the communications method or platform Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related marketing and sales experience. A combination of sales experience and education is preferred Three to Five years' experience in sales/business development Ability to learn the Legacy Care medical services delivery model for marketing and sales purposes Excellent verbal and written skills, experienced business communicator Willingness to travel within the assigned region on a frequent basis and outside the assigned region periodically Honesty, integrity, and willingness to work long hours to achieve company objectives Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation Functionally knowledgeable in MS Office Suite Must be physically capable of doing the job, (see physical requirements below).
