This position independently analyzes critical information to create deliverables current and prospective mid-large size clients with complex, primarily self-funded benefit plans. Deliverables include financial and contractual analysis, modeling, renewal projections and rate analysis and modeling, customized according to client need. Must perform essential functions and meet standard and Best Practices developed by TJIG. Personal drive and zest to learn and contribute wherever needed. Responsibilities: Responsible for financial analytics for large group clients that are self-funded. Client sizes are normally larger than 300 lives. Utilizing strong data analysis skills, provide recommendations to enhance business operations. Monitor key processes and identify and coordinate with the project team to resolve all technical and business needs. Support Senior Consultants/Project Managers/Directors to ensure successful implementations. Develop a strong working knowledge of the clients industry and technology Develop and maintain excellent carrier relationships. Review and validate carrier renewal rating illustration to explain to producer and account managers and also negotiate with carriers. Independently write client facing Executive Summaries that provide observations, conclusions, and recommendations. Act as a resource for Sales Executives to develop strategic plans and solutions for prospects and clients. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work in a fast paced environment fully independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 5+ years' experience in Employee Benefits related field. High School Graduate. College degree preferred but not required. Must hold a Life & Health Insurance license or willing to obtain one within an agreed upon timeframe. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Strong functional knowledge of Excel specific to creating, formatting and evaluating formulas and working within templates. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and other MS office products. Ability to carry out complex tasks.
