My client is looking to add a Senior DevOps Engineer to their fast-paced, ever growing team, working on ground-breaking technology. We're looking for individuals passionate about automating and leveraging DevOps principles, always striving for operational excellence with infrastructure-as-code mentality. Here's what we're looking for An individual who thinks continuous integrationcontinuous delivery (CICD) is second nature, and uses the latest DevOps tools and innovative methods An individual who not only works well on a team, but is an individual contributor. An individual who feels most at home as a liaison between development and operational roles. An individual who's passionate about learning new tools, platforms and languages - and strives to be at the forefront of innovation. An individual who can seamlessly communicate and interact well with teams both on the business and operational side. An individual who is pro-active and constantly thinks of solutions to problems before they arise An individual who can easily translate tech language to the untechnical An individual who is experienced in ensuring the health and uptime of critical systems and applications with pro-active monitoring, analyzing metrics, implementing best practices, and strong troubleshooting skills. Qualifications 3-5 years' experience with managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture with a developer focus Heavy scripting support (PowerShell), Bash, Ruby, Groovy Configuration management tools (eg, Chef, Puppet, Ansible) Application load balancing technologies such as F5 LTMs, including management of VIPs, pools, nodes, iRule authoring, SSL offloading. Cloudformation, Terraform or similar infrastructure as code platforms Experience in Cloud technology (AWS, Azure or Google cloud) Enterprise monitoring tools experience - in areas of APM, system vitals, synthetics and RUM. SQL or No SQL database experience Past experience in configuring Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for performance caching and global traffic management. Familiarity with infrastructure foundation components of large networks in AWS and on-prem (eg, systems network administration, DNS, hypervisors, containers, databases, multi-datacenters). Not required, but a huge plus Development background in Java, C, Python, NodeJS Mobile application support (iOS, Android) REST API or Microservices development experience AgileScrum experience Server-less architecture methodologies PCI compliance and remediation experience We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
