Published Date: 2019-05-17 Type: AC2SN Location: Quantico, VA Scope: Provide engineering support to programs within the Air Command and Control & Sensor Netting Program Management Office. Programs include: Common Aviation Command and Control System, (CAC2S), Marine Air Command and Control Systems (MACCS), Composite Tracking Network (CTN), and Theater Battle Management Core System, (TBMCS), and Command and Control Air Operations Suite-Command and Control Information Services (C2AOS-C2IS). Programs span all acquisition lifecycle phases and encompass ACAT I through Abbreviated Acquisition Programs. Functional Duties/Responsibilities: Participates in risk assessment during the Certification and Accreditation process. Interprets the design and information assurance architectures of systems, or system components for use within networks, and enclave environments. Participates in information systems risk assessments and designs security countermeasures to mitigate identified risks. Ensures that the architecture and design of DoD information systems (IS) are functional and secure. As necessary, designs and develops cybersecurity or cybersecurity-enabled products, interface specifications, and approaches to secure the environment. Utilizes experience and judgment to plan and accomplish enclave security related goals. Assesses system or network designs that encompass multiple networks to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements. Reports to the DAA for cybersecurity issues with separate reporting to other senior management for network operational requirements, as necessary. Supervises assigned team of employees. Required Education: Bachelor's degree and three years related experience in IT or cybersecurity fields, or 10 years' related experience without a degree Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level-II Certified Required Experience: 3 years of progressive functional experience related to the technical area in a professional work environment Experience working with DoD agencies Experience working with the Risk Management Framework process for a DoD acquisition program Experience conducting a cybersecurity risk and vulnerability assessment Experience developing mitigation strategies for a DoD acquisition program Preferred Education/Certification/Experience: Master's Degree in IT or Cybersecurity Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification 5 years experience supporting large scale systems with Information Assurance and DIACAP or RMF initiatives DAWIA Level I certification (or civilian equivalent) in related field Previous assignment as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Participant in a software maintenance cybersecurity/source code review Experience in identifying security risks where recommendations for remediation were provided Participated in an evaluation of the impacts of proposed system changes to the baseline security posture of the system Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance; or ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance within 90 days of hire date.
