We're looking for a Senior Director - Talent Acquisition that will develop and shape best-in-class attraction and recruiting strategies. You will lead a robust, high-performing recruiting function with the capacity to hire niche, cleared NextGen Talent as well as high volume requirements. You will innovate and drive process changes through trust and transparency with top GDIT leadership. You will use unconstrained and innovative thinking to infuse diversity and inclusion strategies in all aspects of Talent Acquisition to create a culture of inclusivity. Are you ready to join and grow our 35,000 everyday heroes? A Day in the Life: Align talent acquisition strategy to the demands of the business. Partners with the division leadership and Group HR Partners in identifying key talent needs to determine demand for experienced hires. Lead the development of an enterprise wide talent acquisition strategy in support of the business demand. Align with other Talent Acquisition (TA) functions to fully leverage our talent channels - Talent Mobility, Strategic Sourcing, University Relations & Military Recruiting & Employee Referrals. Use Talent Analytics to measure efficiencies, performance and to identify problem areas. Establishes relevant measurements of success, including workforce planning and retention goals. Foster the development of our TA talent to ensure collaboration across the business, providing best in class solutions and customer-centric execution in support of the acquisition AND retention of talent. Bring innovation and creativity as a key HR leader in all areas that impact talent with a focus being to deliver operating efficiencies, improve the user experience and enhance the employee value proposition. What you'll need: 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience or 14 years of experience without a Bachelor's Degree Demonstrated track record of strategic business impact Must possess a strong business acumen and can translate priorities and activities into business impact Must have a proven track record of delivering value and can quantify the value Executive presence, skilled influencer, savvy negotiation skills and excellent communicator Demonstrated leadership style that engenders strong followership, inspires extraordinary performance and leads a team to a stated vision An understanding of the sense of urgency around staffing in the IT services industry Team player, collaborative, accountable for delivering for the team Desired Competencies: Unconstrained, creative thinker Problem Solver Technology savvy; Lead digital solutions to automate processes Results driven Proactive Willing to make difficult decisions / Measures impact of trade-offs Business Acumen / Connects the dots to business impact Hands-on Player / Coach For more than 50 years, General Dynamics Information Technology has served as a trusted provider of information technology, systems engineering, training, and professional services to customers across federal, state, and local governments, and in the commercial sector.
