You may qualify at the GS-0343- 14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
I have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level of the Federal Service that included: 1) Serving as a liaison with human resources; 2) Planning, organizing, and directing team work and negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations; 3) Formulating administrative policies, business rules and practices; 4) Managing programs and performing analyses and reports; 5) Directing and overseeing a variety of administrative activities and distributing workload among employees; and 6) Analyzing and evaluating (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirements for one year of full-time graduate study.
