Let's make an impact together.Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categoriesResponsibilitiesJoint Engineering Teams - Sustainment (JETS) will provide USCIS with Agile development and maintenance capability to sustain their IT systems. JETS will supply agile development teams to participate in IT maintenance efforts, to include activities necessary for sustaining previously developed systems and applications using Lean processes. The Contractor will be part of an ecosystem participating with federal employees and other contractors in a team-based scaled agile approach to deliver mission value frequently, cost-effectively, responsively, and with high quality. The project manager (PM) systems analyst is the lead coordinator between the customer and the application developers to design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software solutions. The PM will lead one or more agile teams to research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. The PM will have a team of web, back-end and database interfaces to ensure an integrated solution using the latest CI/CD technology (Angular, AWS, etc.). The PM is responsible for leading an agile process through story development, backlog grooming, and responses to ad-hoc customer priorities. The PM will also assign tasks and provide oversight and verification of work on the development team. The JETS program is at the forefront of DevSecOps and the agile development team will be responsible for application delivery management through a process of user story development and rapid responses to critical customer challenges.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:BS degree, technical degree such as Engineering or CS preferred15+ years of experience with complex problem solving, providing recommendations based on technical analysisExperience with Agile Methodology (Kanban, Scrum)Familiarity with software design (Java, C#)Familiarity with software implementation tools and methodologies, such as GitHub, Oracle, AWS Desired Qualifications:One or more industry certification (INCOSE, PMP, ITIL)Experience with JIRA or other agile toolsAWS certificationExperience with IT modernization Options
