Electrical Engineering Director Falls Church VA Full Time 2018-01-28T00:00:00 Electrical Engineering Director Washington, DC Our client has an immediate need for a Communications Electrical Engineering Director for their location outside of Washington DC Responsibilities will include testing and analyzing the susceptibility of hardware and firmware for communications systems, reverse engineering, design and project management to see it through completion, and analyzing communication systems and protocols. Responsibilities: * Test and analyze susceptibility to jamming signals * Develop detailed design specifications of equipment * Serve as as Technical Lead and Project Manager for scope of project * Hardware and Firmware Design with experience PLD/FPGA * Communications protocol reverse engineer and analysis * Embedded software programming and vulnerability analysis. Requirements: * BSEE or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering/Science * 2+ years of experience with RF communications design, test and evaluation * Experience with testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, and signal generators * Ability to communicate effectively with governing bodies, the program Manager, and staff engineers * Travel as needed when requested * Ability to obtain a Security Clearance will be required down the road Great opportunity for the Senior Electrical Engineer who is seeking an exciting role as a Director in a high-tech R & D environment. * BSEE or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering/Science * 2+ years of experience with RF communications design, test and evaluation * Experience with testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, and signal generators * Ability to communicate effectively with governing bodies, the program Manager, and staff engineers * Travel as needed when requested * Ability to obtain a Security Clearance will be required down the road
