Overview We are seeking System Administrators to provide smooth operation of multi-user computer systems. In event of a system failure provides recovery of services to operations based on service level; utilizes troubleshooting skills and available procedures in restoration of services. Other duties may include setting up user accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. In this position, the Systems Administrator will work to support a cloud-based Amazon environment across multiple network domains. Responsibilities What you'll do Maintain and administer a cloud-based Amazon computing environment across multiple network domains Monitor systems to ensure availability to all users and perform necessary maintenance to support availability; monitor/resolve incident tickets as appropriate Perform daily system checks to maintain operating efficiency and create Daily Status reports Create and maintain scripts to automate monitoring activities and create efficiencies Create and maintain system health and status dashboard Apply and update security patches and ensure system security compliance Support customer meetings and provide metrics and briefing reports as requested Coordinate and support system maintenance for planned Authorized Outages Review system and machine event and error logs on routine basis.
