Fire Protection Engineer Location: Bethesda, MD GRSi, a Top 5 Technical company in Maryland is actively looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to join our growing team. This opportunity will be crucial in providing leading edge engineering solutions to world renowned healthcare and research organizations in the Washington DC Metro area. This position is an onsite role in Bethesda, MD. What you will be doing: . Reviewing architectural/engineering designs and fire protection system shop drawings for over 50 buildings . Conducting construction inspections and issuing final occupancy permits . Witness acceptance tests for fire alarm and sprinkler system modifications . Evaluate existing building conditions through life safety and hazard analysis surveys . Provide technical guidance using various NFPA codes Who you are: . 2+ years' experience in fire protection engineering or related fields . Hands-on experience in the following o International Building Code (IBC) o National Fire Codes (NFPA) o Building Construction o Means of Egress o Fire Suppression Systems o Fire pumps o Fire Alarm Systems o Fire protection for health care facilities and laboratories using chemicals Must have's: . Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering . 2+ years of experience Desired: .
