Global Director of HRISThe Global Director of HRIS is responsible for driving forward the selection, development and integration of all HR and payroll systems with particular emphasis on maximizing the ROI of Oracle PeopleSoft HRM. Will work closely with global leads and IT to coordinate multi-country deployment including resolution of issues and risks and managing the build of training and communications. Drive the development and effective use of PeopleSoft to deliver efficient business processes, management information and analysis and maximize functionalityWork with senior stakeholders and IT to ensure that business solutions are efficiently delivered, leading change managementDevelop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the global HR operational functions and business needs for all HR processesCollaborate with IT regarding the upgrade and development of HR systems striving to minimize customization and adapting business processes as necessaryCreate, implement and maintain HRIS security policies and practices that support business needs. Regularly review and maintain audit reportsEnsure that HR data is captured accurately and consistently and that integrity is maintainedDevelop and implement global best practices for data entry and report criteria design in PeopleSoft, and other globally used HR software, to deliver effective data tracking and global reporting capabilities to meet business needWrite, maintain and support a variety of reports and queries utilizing appropriate reporting toolWork with the HR team to develop key HR metrics and analyses to support transparency, facilitate discussion of business process improvements and recommend related initiativesProvide leadership to the Global HRIS team by establishing goals, assigning responsibility, setting priorities, monitoring deadlines and reporting progressEnsure that accurate and clear documentation and process manuals are designed and maintained for all HR processes and systems and that training is provided as requiredTroubleshoot global HR software process issues and propose solutions to improve our best practicesMaintain alignment of HRIS efforts with the goals and objectives of HR leaders working with all stakeholders to agree and implement global working practices and internal procedures and practices that support the HRIS strategyCreate and maintain a risk/ issue log, driving resolution and escalating as necessary for change management issuesSupport projects by developing and implementing a flexible change management methodology/ framework for the delivery of projects, working closely with IT for integration into the existing IT change management processManage and build relationships with third-party suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies and ensure that service level agreements are established and metManage the creation of business requirement documentation including their review for the purposes of determining the merit of initiating specific projectsSupport communication of project methodology and project initiatives across the firm.Manage and coordinate global and regional project teams, leading change management and training activities as necessaryDevelop relationships with business services departments to understand and deliver source of record HR data to ensuring the efficiency of interfaced applications such as Aderant, Blue Pages and ViDesktopQualificationsEducation/Training/Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredTechnical Skills: 7 years minimum PeopleSoft experience requiredStrong background with macros, Excel and Microsoft Office experience required, experience with XML and SQL preferredProfessional Experience: Minimum 7 years global HR operations and HRIS systems experience requiredExtensive experience with Peoplesoft, Project Management and must have worked on full life cycles of HRIS implementationsExperience managing cross regional teams and complex projects requiredExperience within legal or professional service firms preferredExperience of re-engineering work processes requiredPerformance Traits:Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skillsDemonstrable problem solving skills with the ability to facilitate problem solving discussionsIdeally have experience working in a matrix environment with a full range of HR systemsBe comfortable acting as an adviser and presenting to senior stakeholders on a global platformAble to prioritize and manage tasks in a high-pressure environment and meet strict deadlinesAble to effectively manage and mentor team membersCommitted to continuous improvement with strong project management skillsHigh level of discretion, even keeled with the ability to maintain composure under pressureFlexibility to work in a changing environment and the initiative to play a leadership roleEnergetic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team orientated environmentResilient in managing conflicts and dealing with setbacksSolutions orientated with the ability to address problems by gathering relevant information formulating alternatives and building consensus around decisionsManagement Accountabilities:Management responsibility for performance reviews, compensation management, training and development.Physical Requirements: May be required to lift file boxes up to 25 lbs.
