Principal, Knowledge Resource Center, Wealth Compliance Consulting CenterRole can be based out of any US Buck office.Duties and Responsibilities Serve as Retirement Editor-in-Chief for Buck's external compliance and technical publications produced through Buck's Knowledge Resource Center (KRC) Provide support as one of the preeminent technical authorities for Buck Serve as a consulting resource for our consultants and clients Support our Practice leadership in the development of compliance related resources Actively monitor legislative, regulatory and legal developments and determine which to disseminate through Buck publications Draft FYI and other publications as appropriate on legal, regulatory and legislative developments Oversee and manage the publications process for all KRC retirement-related publications: Coordinate with other writing team members to create an efficient publication process and schedule Provide consulting insights where appropriate Perform technical review of research publications Assure quality and accuracy through editing and proofreading documents and publications Assure that processes and procedures are documented and in place for storing and producing information Coordinate with appropriate consultants and experts to get proper review and assistance, and exercise diplomacy in managing other writers' contributions Contribute to Buck's reputation in the marketplace as a recognized leader in HR and Benefits Thought LeadershipKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Significant experience in the retirement plans arena Recognition as an ERISA and actuarial industry expert Experience in technical research, publishing and federal government rule and law-making Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and management skills, excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail Advanced degree/credential required; law (JD, LLM) and/or actuarial science (FSA, ASA, EA, FSPA) Ability to respond quickly to developments in the field and to handle multiple and different tasks Ability to work as part of team as well as independently Dynamic, innovative and flexible personality desiredAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or protected veteran status, or any other legally protected basis, in accordance with applicable law.At Buck, we're exclusively focused on helping our clients and their people succeed together.
