VoIP Engineer
Key Role:

Perform architecture and design support for current and future large-scale enterprise VoIP solutions. Provide Tier III troubleshooting for Cisco UCM, Unity Connection, Instant Messaging and Presence (IM&P), and Unified Border Element (CUBE). Provide engineering and design support for local area networks, including layer 2 and 3 switches, routers, and firewalls. Work with vendors to determine how their latest technologies can be incorporated into future designs. Conduct test and evaluation activities within a lab environment for future upgrades to an enterprise UC solution. This position requires the ability to work onsite 2-3 days a week in Fort Meade, MD.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with IP networking, routing, and switching

-2+ years of experience with Cisco UCM or Unity Connection or IM&P

-Secret clearance required

-HS diploma or GED

-Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Design and Architecture of VoIP solutions

-Experience with Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)

-Experience with Active Directory

-Experience with Single Sign On

-Experience with Cisco Prime Collaboration

-Experience with VMware

-Experience with Avaya AS5300

-Experience with Oracle Session Border Controllers

-Experience with Juniper MX routers

-BS degree in CS, EE, Computer Engineering, or a related field

-CCNA and CCNA Voice Certifications
