Please view the project details below: Start Date: Late May or Early June Duration: Several weeks, with the potential for a longer-term engagement Location: Washington, DC Hours: 40 hrs/week Pay: $31/hr for licensed attorneys (any state bar) $27/hr for unlicensed JDs $25/hr for upcoming 2L's and 3L's of any ABA accredited law school REQUIRED SKILLS * Law degree, JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study * Requires sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources * Hands on experience with Westlaw or Lexis * Familiarity and experience with ESI and eDiscovery tools * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Must have hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging PREFERRED SKILLS (not required) * Mandarin * Relativity experience RESPONSIBILITIES * Reviewing and analyzing documents and explaining/summarizing them to lawyers * Identifying and preparing documents for production to third parties * Performing complex legal research; preparing draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.; reviewing documents for relevance and privilege; and assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation If you'd like to be considered for this position, don't delay!
