Responsibilities of the IT Quality Assurance Test Engineer: Provides testing leadership within a system area, project, or program Communicates QA to project stakeholders, technology services, and leadership Coordinate testing across multiple testing phases, including System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, developing testing strategies, and End-to-End Testing Owns defect management process for the program, ensuring defects are remediated and risks communicated Ensures all applicable SDLC and testing processes are followed provides mentoring as appropriate Provides remediation plans for issues to stakeholders Collects testing metrics, reports status to project leadership Experience in Developing Test Scenarios, Test Scripts and Ensuring Test Coverage with the RTM, executing Test Scripts and coordinating Test Effort across various teams Conduct Stage Gate Reviews with the Stakeholders and provide Test Results and Reports Provides leadership and consultation to program and application development groups for all testing related matters Creates test data strategy, forecasting, archiving, and preservation of test data for the project Requirements of the IT Quality Assurance Test Engineer: Bachelor's Degree Experience of one year or less in general IT consulting, system/application development, design and implementation.
