Project Manager
Key Role:

Manage large customer programs and projects, focusing on non-technical aspects of program and project management, including budget analysis, resources, and schedules. Balance customer requirements and internal and third-party resources. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Work on unusually complex problems and provide solutions that are highly creative. Use independent judgment to accomplish objectives. Serve as the organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs. Act as a prime leader on large programs and projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with project and program management

-Experience with directing and controlling the activities of one or more large programs, including 100+ FTE

-Experience with providing oversight to staff at all levels

-Experience with leading the development of strategic, operational, and tactical plans and defining opportunities for improvement for clients' operations

-Experience with leading internal and external client meetings and presentations

-Experience as a senior problem-solver using structured methods of problem solving

-Ability to develop and write technical reports, analysis, and whitepapers

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with Veterans Affairs, US Army, US Navy, Marine Corp, or US Air Force as a support contractor

-Experience with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VA) Transition Assistance Program (TAP)

-Experience with EVMS

-Ability to show a technical background a plus

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
