Healthcare Planning Analyst, Senior
Key Role:

Provide healthcare planning support and leadership to clients, including clinical and non-clinical health system professionals. Adapt quickly to comprehend each health client's unique business operations and planning needs and address challenges by employing market research, supply and demand analysis and projections, and financial analysis and projections. Work with subject matter experts to optimize business operations and provide strategic planning support to health clients. Make recommendations based on insight and assessments to improve healthcare operations.

Basic Qualifications:

-14+ years of experience with direct healthcare strategic planning in a hospital, health system, or major healthcare provider

-Experience with making strategic decisions as a health planner in an inpatient or outpatient or clinical setting for a health system

-Experience in working with clinicians and other front-line staff to solve complex business needs

-Knowledge of healthcare data, healthcare systems, health plans, and medical groups

-Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient operational structures and US healthcare regulatory environment

-Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time to perform work-related tasks

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with commercial healthcare systems, medical groups, or health plans as a planner or hospital administrator

-Experience with managing teams

-Knowledge of integrated health care delivery systems and in community planning and interagency collaboration

-Ability to lead or set the direction for a diverse professional and non-professional healthcare team while working collaboratively to meet client needs

-Ability to analyze, synthesize, and summarize information for decision making

-Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

-Possession of excellent critical thinking, administrative, technical, organizational, and client service or consulting skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MHA, MBA, MPH, or MS degree in Healthcare preferred
