Howdy! Potomac Pathways needs to bring on 2 new therapists for our outpatient mental health programs that work with teens and young adults. We’re looking for totally awesome social workers or counselors that love working with young people, and can easily establish rapport in the therapeutic relationship. We are running an intensive outpatient mental health treatment program and also a unique psychiatric day treatment program; both programs are DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) programs with the full-on DBT treatment curriculum delivered with fidelity to the evidence-based treatment model. Don’t worry— you’ll get the premium training as provided by Behavioral Tech, premium continuing education opportunities and so much more. This is a plum of a job for a master’s-level therapist looking to grow professionally and work in a supportive “community of practice.” Your starting salary is higher than the comparable, the benefits are excellent (health, dental, 401(k) after one year with employer contribution) and as you progress you will absolutely have opportunities to take on more responsible positions in the program.
