Pediatric and Adult Telepsychiatry

Pathways is a private, nonprofit behavioral health organization.  We are offering a flexible, 8-hour per week opportunity available for a licensed prescriber to work with an experienced treatment team delivering outpatient services to pediatric, adolescent, and adults with serious mental illness and the general public.   Selected candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication prescription and management and will work as an independent contractor.  We offer competitive compensation. 

Must be a Maryland licensed MD or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.  Prior outpatient clinical experience is preferred.  Proficient knowledge of mental health treatment and case management is necessary. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary in order to work effectively within the clinic setting and to communicate via live video link.  Although the majority of work time will be spent providing telepsychiatric services a regularly scheduled on-site visit will be necessary.
