  • To qualify at the GS-08 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. Specialized experience includes but is not limited to: creating and editing documents; proofreading completed work, ensuring it is free of grammatical and spelling errors; Receiving and screening telephone calls; Making travel arrangements; Preparing and processing time and attendance records; Preparing and maintaining paper and electronic files; Ordering and maintaining supplies; Receiving and sorting mail; Preparing, proofreading, and editing correspondence; Performing legal research to prepare reports and other legal documents.
