  • GS-09: You qualify for the GS-09GS-09 grade level if you possess one of the following:

    A. One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-07 grade level) in the federal service, performing such duties as: (1) Gathering, reviewing, verifying and consolidating information needed in formulation and presentation of budget requests; (2) Researching financial information to obtain factual information and/or interpretations for use by your supervisor and co-workers; and (3) Preparing summaries of data in budget reports and schedules.

    B. A Master's, LL.B., J.D., or equivalent graduate degree, or have successfully completed at least 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading toward such a degree in a field that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.

    C. Appropriate combination of successfully completed graduate level education and experience described in A and B above, that when combined, equals 100% of the total requirement.

    We will review your resume and supporting documentation to ensure you meet the basic qualification requirements. If you meet the minimum qualifications, your experience, education and training will be rated using an Assessment Questionnaire.     Based on your responses, you will receive a score from the Assessment Questionnaire between 70 and 100. Applicants will be referred to the hiring manager for consideration in accordance with the terms of the agency Merit Promotion Plan.

    Consideration will be given to performance appraisals and incentive awards as an indicator of quality of prior experience; no points will be assigned.
