TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Professional expertise and extensive experience in mission development along with a demonstrated ability
to manage a large multi-disciplined, highly technical organization with the responsibility to conceptualize,
develop, and integrate the full range of safety and mission assurance discipline expertise in support of earth
and space science mission programs, including the management of support and contract organizations.
2. Demonstrated leadership and ability to retain, attract, and develop a diverse, technically competent,
motivated workforce.
3. Ability to negotiate, establish, and maintain collaborations with other segments of the Center, other
NASA Centers, NASA mission directorates, other government agencies, national laboratories, industry,
academia, and international partners in support of the NASA mission.
Candidates must possess an engineering degree, preferably an advanced degree from an accredited engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university in a closely related engineering discipline
