Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a growing software organization that services federal and civilian agencies to find an experienced Team Lead to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage communication and drive sales on assigned accounts in additional leading a staff of Account Managers supporting the clients.

A summary of the responsibilities for this role are:

• Build relationships in order to maintain and grow existing accounts
• In person and phone meetings with client to ensure all client needs are being addressed
• Cold call to find new business within client accounts
• Execute sales strategies to hit maximum revenue
• Coach, train, counsel and mentor a staff of 4 Account Managers
• Ensure staff is providing outstanding client service, hitting deadline and following processes

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• 3-5 years of sales experience selling into civilian or government agencies
• Experience selling to the DoD, Navy or Government procurement is a plus
• 1-2 years of sales management experience OR 3+ years of as a sales lead, supervisor or mentor
• Outstanding client service skills with the ability to maintain relationships while finding new business within the assigned accounts
• Proven experience with solution selling and consultative sales
• Understanding of how to manage the government sales cycle
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Active or interim security clearance is a plus

Compensation: $90-110K plus 20-30% bonus
