Specialized Experience:is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service.
Candidates for the GS-12 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
You are required to meet ALL the Skill sets listed below:
Skill Set 1: Experience in operating computer equipment in order to design, develop, and implement software upgrades.
Skill Set 2: Experience in modifying, coding, and testing new system software for implementation.
Skill Set 3: Experience in conducting software studies and evaluations in order to advise management on required software changes.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.
