  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience for the respective grade level(s) in which you are applying:

    GS-09

    Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service performing the following:
    • Maintaining accurate records in information management systems;
    • Providing technical advice, and guidance regarding policies and procedures to employees, and managers;
    • Applying principles of management, and organization to seeking methods for continuous improvement of work products;
    • Troubleshooting, and advising on administrative issues, and concerns; AND
    • Drafting documents to provide information in response to requests from management.
    OR
    Education: Master's Degree or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years (36 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in business, operations management, or other directly related field. NOTE: You MUST submit supporting academic transcripts.

    OR

    Combination: A combination of specialized experience and graduate education as described directly above that total 100% when combined. First, determine total qualifying experience as a percentage of the specialized experience described above; then determine the education as a percentage of the graduate education described above; and then add the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. Only graduate education in excess of one year (18 semester hours) may be used when combining education and experience for this grade. NOTE: You MUST submit supporting academic transcripts.

    Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service performing the following:
    • Maintaining accurate, and balanced asset transaction records in information management systems;
    • Providing technical advice, and guidance regarding policies and procedures for managing, and disposing of assets;
    • Applying qualitative, and quantitative analytical techniques to seeking methods for continuous improvement of work products;
    • Troubleshooting, and advising on a variety of problems, and issues related to the management and disposition of assets; AND
    • Drafting and editing contents of training materials, policies, and procedures.
    OR

    Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years (54 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in business, operations management, or other directly related field. NOTE: You MUST submit supporting academic transcripts.

    OR

    Combination: A combination of specialized experience and graduate education as described directly above that total 100% when combined. First, determine total qualifying experience as a percentage of the specialized experience described above; then determine the education as a percentage of the graduate education described above; and then add the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. Only graduate education in excess of two years (36 semester hours) may be used when combining education and experience for this grade. NOTE: You MUST submit supporting academic transcripts.
