  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver license.
  • Must be able to obtain a Forklift/MHE license and/or certification within 90 days of appointment and maintain thereafter every five years until age 60 and annually thereafter.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • Must be physically agile and able to perform tiring tasks to include climbing, stooping, bending, standing, or walking for long periods of time.
  • On occasion, assignments may include TDY more than one week in duration such that the selectee will be required to remain in a travel status over a weekend.
  • You may be exposed to moderate risks, discomforts, and/or temporary harmful agents such as high level noise, fumes, dust, heat, cold, dampness, chemicals, drafts, poor ventilation, and the elements of weather such as rain, snow wind, etc.
  • You may be required to return to the duty station outside the scheduled hours of work under "call back" procedures.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing supply support services associated with warehousing and inventory of supply materials to include receiving, inspecting, storing, or inventory control using an automated inventory system such as Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S) Inventory Onsite Support. Examples of qualifying experience: Experience in NAVSEA OM&S daily processes, Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) processes, Navy warehouse processes, daily OM&S operational support; analyzes reports and transactions produced by the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) automated systems; assist supply specialists in assuring effective material support for weapons systems and operational equipment that is in direct support of production; knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, instructions applicable to Supply inventory management and receiving functions; knowledge of ERP inventory processes, reports, and listings.
