Provides direct oversight of the environmental services staff in performing daily activities and tasks that supports the operations of the department.
Assists management with monitoring productivity, budgets, and expenditures.
Handles and reviews customer comments, complaints, and concerns to determine that hospital guests' expectations are met.
Maintains a high level of cleanliness in assigned areas.
Ensures that all equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times.
Under general supervision, the environmental services manager is responsible for assisting the operations manager with the day-to-day operations of the environmental services staff in their assigned area and assists the operations manager in any needed capacity. The manager also directly oversees the housekeeping staff.
Essential Duties:
Plans and coordinate project work.
Attends and participate in departmental staff meetings, development and training courses.
Participates in facility Quality Assurance Program and Patient Satisfaction Program as required.

Work Schedule:

Evening Shift; rotating weekends and rotating holidays.
