C-SPAN is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to write and edit print, digital and corporate copy for all marketing materials, including consumer, cable trade and education publications. Also write, edit, fact check and coordinate projects for C-SPAN publications, and when necessary, act as primary liaison to publishers and designers; edit, design and gather metrics for weekly digital newsletters; coordinate ad campaigns with company departments; act as point person for company research; gather images and rights for ads and other materials; write ad copy for social media and online. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English or Journalism, at least three years' experience in Marketing Services Advertising or Communications with a demonstrated ability to coordinate the work of others, including staff and outside vendors. Excellent writing, editing, organizational, prioritization and negotiation skills, and Constant Contact or similar experience preferred.
