Applicants must have 1 year of specialized
experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the
Federal service which provided the applicant
with the particular knowledge, skills and
abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must
demonstrate the following:
Experience as an expert in security operations, statutes, standards and policies.
Experience in using a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to improve program effectiveness.
Experience in drafting, editing reports and briefing senior official in multiple organizations.
There is no substitute of education for
specialized experience for the GS-14 position.

Extensive knowledge in security operations, statutes, standards and policies.
Ability to use a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze, assess, and improve program effectiveness.
A good working knowledge of project management principles.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Qualified candidates are assigned a score between 70 and 100.
