This position requires completion of Level I Skills related training as outlined in the Army Career Program (CP-12) Master Training Plan within one year of appointment.

Incumbent may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays and/or irregular duty hours commensurate with mission.

Required to obtain and maintain standard Army Safety Program certification. Continuous education and training in a tactical field environment is required.

Specialized experience is defined as: Developing or implementing programs to reduce the frequency, severity, and cost of accidents and occupational illnesses; Analyzing or evaluating new and existing jobs, processes, products, or other systems to determine the existence, severity, probability, and outcome of hazards; Inspecting or surveying workplaces, processes, products, or other systems for compliance with established safety and occupational health policies or standards to identify potential new hazards and Managing safety or occupational health program elements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
