Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Grants Analyst to support a Federal Government client on site in Arlington (Rosslyn), VA. The Grants Analyst will provide grants management support.

Responsibilities
  • Review grants related transactions
  • Analyze payment issues in GFMS
  • Analyze and recommend corrections to interface issues
  • Approve manual corrections and grants closings in Payment Management System
  • Ensure separation of duties is adhered to in approving authorizations in SAMS and payment confirmations in PMS
  • Assist in resolving reconciliation issues
  • Respond to audit or review questions


Required Qualifications
  • Experience with managing and auditing grants as well as performing grant closings
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing grants related financial reports and recommending adverse actions
  • Knowledge of grants lifecycle and ensuring compliance
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledgeable of federal financial laws, regulations, policy, and procedures


Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable of GAAP, OMB Circular A-133, or 2 CFR 200 standards
